We make it easy for artists to get exposure. We help restaurants, cafés and others to decorate with great art.

Who can I talk to?

You can reach us at hi@artpublic.io.

What are the steps for selling with artpublic?

Click exhibit your art on the front page, and let us know you’re interested. We’ll be in touch shortly. Once you’re accepted, we’ll help you find a suitable spot for your artworks! You can also send an email to artists@artpublic.io or contact us via Instagram.

Can i return the artwork if I change my mind?

Yes, within the first 14 days after your purchase, you’re allowed to return the artwork at no cost!

How do I get paid?

The money will be transferred to you within 12 business days after your artwork has been sold, as long as the Buyer didn’t activate our two-week return policy.

How long can I display the artwork?

Standard exhibition time is three months.

How does Artpublic work?

Artpublic is a threesiden marketplace connecting Artists, Venues, and art Buyers. Venues are restaurants, hotels, and other physical spaces using art from Artpulic for decoration. People frequenting these Venues are potential art Buyers. Someone who likes a piece of art exhibited at a restaurant for example, can buy it right then and there using the Artpublic QR code located next to the artwork.

Are there any costs?

It’s free for Artists to exhibit art through Artpubic. When a work of art gets sold, Artpublic and the Venue where the piece was exhibited receive commissions of 40% and 10% each, respectively. The Buyer pays separately for printing and framing, which is optional.

Who handles transportation and logistics?

Artpublic handles delivery from the Artist to the Venues, and from the Venues to the Buyer.

Who decides the price my art will be sold for?

We will give you advice based on our experience, but you as the Artist will have the final word. Nothing will be sold through Artpublic for a price the Artist isn’t comfortable with.

What if something happens to the art?

For unique pieces, Artpublic covers the cost of damaged artwork based on a price that has been pre-approved by the Artist.

Can I choose which Venue my art will be exhibited in?

Artpublic works with several different types of Venues, and each have their own style, clientele and price level. You as an Artist have the right to choose what types of Venues you would like to exhibit your art in, and you will be able to pre-approve Venues either individually or by category. One of our most important tasks is to find the most suitable Venue for your art, and you can rest assured that none of it will be exhibited at a Venue you’re not comfortable with.
